Kobe has turned right back into Kome these past few days and his teammates look like they're quitting on him because of it. Pau went as close as anyone other than Shaq to criticizing him a couple of weeks ago when he said they need to run their offense inside out more but nothing seems to have changed. They've got to reel this in before it gets out of hand or make a proper trade.

yeah getting destroyed by the grizzlies at home is not a good sign...to put it mildly...they need to sit together and talk over their differences else this season will be a lost cause...

If Boston are healthy come playoffs no-one's beating them in a series. Rondo just gave them another lift when they were starting to look ragged and Garnett and Perkins will give them a lot when they're back. Favourite team to watch right now.

Orlando is starting to really look strong. They've never had this level of scoring available to them. Still have a major big man hole but Gortat has stunk Phoenix out and getting shot of his contract worked out well for them. Still really deep so should be able to swing something for a backup big.

New York also starting to look like they're one good rebounder and a backup point away from being a 50 win team.

Denver look bad though, no one bothering anymore, last night against the Kings was disgusting. 23 turnovers and no steals, no ball movement or team defence. Those guys stopped caring and have now bailed on Melo. Message is pretty clear to him from his teammates, just agree to sign somewhere and **** off.

Phoenix also look in shocking shape. Cheaping out on a team which was a Ron Artest fluke away from a WCF Game 7 against the Lakers and making a ******** trade and now look at them. Two franchises who've died really quickly.

They traded 2 of their starters after losing 7 of 8 and have no depth in their front court right now. It was a panic move and it' way too early to say it's worked. They are playing good ball though.

BARNES OUT
I never said it would work or it would get them much further than they've already been, I said they were significantly better but lacking depth in size and they quite obviously are.

They've added a lot of salary on rapidly declining players who've been predominantly selfish and lazy on defence all their careers. It's a move that will hurt them at some stage man.

Might provide enough offence if it clicks to beat Miami and at a stretch Boston but to beat both and get over a Western team, most of whom are stacked with big front courts? They had to make a move at some point but felt this was pulling the trigger a bit too quick. I'm not even sure they are better after all that, now and they're certainly in cap hell very soon.

Chicago really needs to trade for a big upgrade at shooting guard. Even a guy like Captain Jack would make that team scary. Rose is getting superstar whistle now and his jumper is improving a lot. He's impossible to guard now. Their team defence is insane, they have Boozer looking motivated and Noah and Deng are great fits there. Add a guy like Jackson to that team and it's insane. Would have to give up Gibson + to get him though but could make them a Finals quality team.

I can't see us getting Jackson without gutting our bench, which is not something I see Bulls FO pulling the trigger on. Someone like Courtney Lee or Marcus Thorton would be cheaper and a good fit as well.
