Season 2009 is a long time away, but we need a thread to discuss the off season drama's, player movements, sides, etc.
Start off with what you think your best possible line up for 2009 would be.
1. Anthony Minichiello
2. Amos Roberts
3. Mitch Aubusson
4. Sia Soliola
5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
6. Braith Anasta
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Mark O'Meley
9. Riley Brown
10. Shane Shackleton
11. Nate Myles
12. Setimana Sa
13. Craig Fitzgibbon (c)
Interchange:
14. Willie Mason
15. Lopini Paea
16. Anthony Cherrington
17. James Aubusson
As you can see, you have both a great balance of youth and experience. It may well be Fitzgibbons last season, and we will want to send him out on a high. I am expecting Myles to stand up, and play for rep honours. I am tipping a big season from Lopini Paea, and Mason to stand up and prove he is not the most over-rated player in the NRL. I expect O'Meley to have a ripper of a season. And lastly, I expect the halves combination to gel, and really set up the season, and lead us around the park.
More discussion of that can be found here.
