Not sure how exactly, but England finish second. Suppose that'll do.
Yet I would say that it was a dissappointing tournament at the end of it, even though at the start of the tournament, I would probably have taken 2nd place.

If you listen very carefully you can just about hear the sound of the southern hemisphere laughing at us. How can a team who failed to make the world cup quarter-finals carry off a slam? Aside from fifteen minutes of madness we were the better team against them at Twickers. They definitely deserved to take Les Bleus out, because Johnny Frenchy was so ordinary.

*sigh* 8-)

Anyway, aside from the dodgy opening ten minutes or so we actually half-way approximated a team, admittedly against a BOD & D'Arcy-free Ireland. Cipers did very well & even kicked perfectly too & Jonny looked far more comfortable at second receiver than he has at first.

Balshaw still has to go tho.

Fed up of annoying taffs bleating on about how Wales are going to take conquest to the world and win the next World Cup. Like hell you will, you played decent throughout the tournament, but England and France both played the better rugby in certain games, consistency was the only problem. Unfortunatley is was a major problem, but hopefully Wales will get thumped by whoever they are playing in the autumn.
