Atlanta Coach quits on his team. These college coaches have no credibility and integrity and irony is that this is what they try to teach their kids as a college coach. First Nick Saban then Les Miles and now Bobby Pertino, Next time someone hires a college football coach in NFL, I am going to puke.

I agree with you on this issue. NFL and College are 2 seperate beasts and College jobs have a lot less pressure on them (though things are changing in that regard) and a coach is king there.

Coaches at big Colleges can recruit easily and can pad their schedules with cup-cake games.

There is no suprise when they run back to the friendly confines of College ball. Its what they know and easier to manage.

GMs and owners should be looking at talented NFL assistants rather than big college names.

Also you forgot Spurrier off your list. He was maybe the biggest bust of the lot and then went back to student ball.

I wouldnt be woried by Romos performance.

He is the type of player that will have some shockers from time to time.

He is an instictive QB and attempts unusual throws and those of high difficulty. He is often compared to Farve, and he is similar in this regard.

If he is off by a little, the way he plays and what he attempts will lok terrible.

Its the price you pay for a guy that is usually very good and can make things happen above and beyond the average QB in the league.

TO's injury emphasizes the risks that the Patriots will be taking if they pursue the perfect season. Do they risk a key player getting hurt for it? Or should they be resting players off and on the rest of the way?

Green Bay just had a horrid game to grant the cowboys home field advantage.
Thank you Chicago! Man that looked like AWFUL conditions to play on. The Green Bay punter had a game from hell and Favre wasn't much better. Anyway, this allows the Cowboys to rest their injured players for the next two weeks if need be. We'll take that.

Incredibly, Green Bay losing didnt do Minnesota any favours. dallas have nothing to play for now, and we need them to beat the Skins next week.

So close and yet so far for us again

2 blocks and a fumbled snap.
Green Bay didn't have a blocked punt in a massive number of games (cant remember how many now but it was in the 100's)
