With the new season nearly upon us, I think it's time to dig this up once again.

For those of you who haven't been paying attention, this is the deal:

For those of you not acquainted with the idea the rules are very straightforward: everyone who enters selects a team from the NRL each week, if they win you stay in but if they lose or draw, you're out. You can only select the same side once in each running of the competition (so if you select, say, St George this week & they win you cannot select them again). The last person left in the competition wins...

Any selection made before the game kicks off is accepted.

Bloody hell, I've changed my tip three times already. Went Storm, but the Warriors aren't a bad mob and I'm worried re. the hang over thing, then went Broncos - was before I had a look at their side which is weak on paper compared with a lot of their sides in recent years. Now the Titans, just because it's their first game at the new joint, innit? Was gonna go my team, Parra, but they've left out T Smith & Hayne, and the pre-season has been episode three of "Underbelly", plus they're traditional slow starters and the Dogs usually start well. Bloody hell. Dire.
