The Anti-Gallop Thread
This is the thread to vent all your frustrations about David Gallop.
I can't handle the way he botched the radio, TV and internet rights as well as the farce surrounding the whole sponsorship thing. And then Graham Hughes owned him on the radio. I blame him for the debacle that was the grand final (there was a fitting headline the next day: "Broncos gallop to grand final win". He has the personality of a lightpole, and looks like one too. But, probably the worst thing was when the Bulldogs won the comp in 2004 and he didn't smile. |

we'll give this thread a chance, but its going to the sports forum...
Gallop is meh, there's been worse people involved in Rugby League, everyone employed by the daily telegraph to "write"about League for a start... |

i've already outlined some of gallop's screw-ups, those are just some of the major ones, there are many more. he's far too obsequious to the media outlets who have abused the game for years. he's a news ltd lackey who's sole interest is in making money, which more often than not conflicts with what is in the best interests of the game. |

Two, it'll do even more damage to some of the lower grade compeitions such as the Qld Cup and Bartercard Cup. An example of the importance of the lower grades is Greg Inglis, who was spotted and signed by Norths Devils in the Queensland Cup and pretty much went to Melbourne by default due to Norths being their feeder club. He could've been lost from the game if it weren't for Norths. |
