No, **** off you Johnny come-latelys.

Nah, you're good of course; all welcome. I'll even give you 2 each for the first week as that was the lowest for the round.

St George have a handy record against Manly, so I'm tipping them.

A quick update after Friday's opening salvo. Geg stands proudly atop of the pile with the sole 100% record so far. Poor old archie props things up after backing both today's losers.

Team

1) AFL - 71.21% (47/66)
2) NRL - 58.44% (45/77)
3) Neutrals - 52.38% (11/21)

In the team comp the AFL still leads the way, but their % has taken a hit with 6 of their number backing the Swans. The NRL climb over our neutrals into second, mainly due to the ineptitude of the latter.

Why would you back the Swans? Jeez.

Because the Dogs have been one of the softest teams in the comp since getting smashed by Geelong? Who'd have thought they'd find their balls again against one of the hardest teams in the comp.

St Kilda getting up ends Geg's perfect record & allows Heath to draw level at the top. No tips from Tharmi, so in accordance with accepted practice, he gets the lowest score of the round, which is currently 2 (Vimes, arch, DCYE, morgieb, Burgey & Bib the guilty men).

Team

1) Neutrals - 69.70% (23/33)
2) AFL - 62.26% (66/106)
3) NRL - 57.02% (69/121)

All change in the team challenge, a perfect day from every neutral see them leap from third to first.

Absolutely everyone backed the Storm, so no points at all on Sunday. The only movement is Simon moving up to outright third, courtesy of the bonus point he gets thanks to his 6 for the weekend being the highest tally.

Team

1) Neutrals - 63.89% (23/36)
2) AFL - 56.90%% (66/116)
3) NRL - 52.27% (69/132)

No movement, but all percentages marked down accordingly.

NRL (worth 2 points)

New Zealand Warriors v Sydney Roosters
Brisbane Broncos v Melbourne Storm

AFL (worth 4 points)

Geelong v Western Bulldogs
Hawthorn v St Kilda
