So it's turning out that Joe Nathan, our closer, can't pitch on back to back nights. That's going to be a slight problem for the Rangers. I expect Ogando to be the full-time closer before the All Star break.

Might not be worse thing tbh.
Nathan is always stellar in the regular season, but give him a big spot in the playoffs and he routinely blows it. Hoffman lite.

White Sox's Humber throws a perfect game against the M's. Did you happen to catch that game Kiwininja? I saw the highlights. Bad ass.

I watched the ninth, all 17 pitches of it, including two full counts, and a final out that involved an aborted swing and a miss in the dirt, a miss from the catcher, a complaint from the batter, and an out at first. Not entirely sure I thought he swung at it, but what do I know...

Currently trying to work out WTF is going on at Fenway Park, where the Red Sox were 9-0 up and are now 14-9 down, whilst using the tactic "let's intentionally walk someone so that the bases are loaded". They don't look they could buy an out at the minute.

Haha, that sounds like an interesting final inning. Can't wait to watch the entire highlights on ESPN tonight.

The Red Sox ended up loosing that game and are obviously in a bad way right now. The injuries don't help, but the way they have seemingly disintegrated is disappointing. Bostonians are not a patient bunch and at this rate Bobby Valentine will be fired before he gets his full lineup back. I love the anguish all of this causes their fans though. Theirs is the only fandom I hate more than Yankee Nation.

Wow, just saw some highlights of both of those games. An extraordinary day of baseball.

Yeah, watched it delayed because it was originally blacked out due to being nationally televised on FOX in the US.

That last "out" should have been a walk, but it doesn't really matter.
I'm surprised it's taken this long for the M's to get no hit.

Mariners traded the Yankees damaged good.
Pineda might not even pitch this year, hope the M's lose 110 games this year
