Sydney received £200,000 ($AUS500,000) for Yorke.

It leaves a big hole in the side with the season just kicking off. Decent money for a 34 year old though that would have only seen the season out and left for free.

Too bad we have barely any suitable stadiums - Suncorp, Aussie Stadium and Telstra stadium. That's about it.

Football at the 'G and all the other cricket grounds is terrible. You end up with 30 metres either side of the pitch back to the crowd.

Not to mention the AFL, League and Union seasons are in full swing in June/July so all grounds are unavailable regardless.

It's a pipe dream.

Most big stadiums these days are like that because they put running tracks between the pitch and seats.

**** the AFL, League and Union. The Football World Cup is bigger than all three + their world cups + everything to do with them put together!

Would be great if it happened that's for sure!

Fair play to the Knights, thoroughly deserved that win. I thought they'd get up though, Adelaide are crap. They've barely bought anyone and gone in with the same old lame team. Serves them right.

The great news is that the Knights create chances but the bad news is that they can't convert them! There is going to be alot of pressure on the portuguese player Dani to score goals when he returns from injury, but from what i've heard..he's born to score them so hopefully he'll stay fit.
