Can't see how she has a dog in the fight anyway, tbh.
- As featured in The Independent.
"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Eoin Morgan on being given a rice cooker for being Man of the Match in a Dhaka Premier Division game.
This idea that it's okay to troll the public with awful journalism is truly disgusting. Bourbon Bec and that snake Rothfield are the worst offenders. It's depressing that there doesn't seem to be a significant enough downside to discourage them from doing it.

Good article, but the right play is not acknowledging her imo.
I also dispute this:
Itís this level of support from fans that has put rival codes to shame and sparked a universal acknowledgement that to play in front of a passionate crowd of 12,000 at a football game versus a stadium packed to the brim with supporters showing very little or no emotion is an unbeatable experience.
but no biggie.

I think the level of organization leads to an experience you don't get at other Australian sporting events. "Very little or no emotion" is a poor turn of phrase of course, but I think it's fair to say soccer fans generate more noise per capita than other codes.
While it's good to ignore a professional troll like Wilson, I do like the fact that soccer journos stick up for the code. Wish RL journos would do the same, but most of the professional trolls ARE "RL journos".
It also doesn't put rival codes to shame though. Its just a different experience. Being at a soccer/football game was one of the best experiences I've had, and the singing and chanting is great. But other codes aren't put to shame by not having that. They aren't trying to. It was a needless comment. Not saying its a big deal, just didn't agree with the statement and didn't feel it was necessary.
I don't know much about soccer but get into the world cup. Couldn't help but notice a bloke called Robbie Kruse and how he good he is. Saddened therefore to hear that he is all but ruled out of the world cup with a knee injury at training with his German club.
Yeah it's an absolutely massive blow.
isn't it time to let Hillsborough go? It was very sad and of course the Police lied (as usual) but face facts no one is ever going to be jailed for it, just move on.
Personally, I thought a lot was resolved on 09/12/12. But I can't speak on behalf of the families/those close to the disaster.
Man, Ecuador have been horrible. Just a complete mess defensively.
Australia pretty impressive though, even considering that.
