Two of the outsiders for the Biglands in Jamee and Stedman have met in back-to-back warmups over on Table 3, with fascinating results.

Frame 1 was a drawn-out, tense process, with foul after foul making up a good chunk of the scoring in a high scoring frame. Stedman led by as much as 30 early on, but in the end he was edged out by Jamee with a poor finish.

Frame 2 went better for Stedman, as he broke away to an unassailable lead through the middle of the frame, and currently sits well ahead at 49-16.

A staggering Demeza (fans at one point asked if he was passed out on the table or not) beat Borcich by the narrowest of margins this evening, 56-46.

Both Borcich and Demeza made blunders towards the end of the game, fouling merrily and giving the opposition freebie points.

Borcich and Demeza had better these said fouls from their game before the all important Biglands Trophy (even if he is a crows player) if they are to stand any chance at all.

The seeded players for the Campbells Chunky Rhett Biglands Trophy are as follows, in an order designed for the simplicity of the draw rather than anything else. Mostly they are people we have seen play before.

Thanks Jamee and Travis for the schooling...
Demeza beat one Greg Thomas, 65-36.

At one stage Thomas looked the likely winner, but it was not to be.

One avid onlooker of the Gray-Thomas match was quoted at saying "Thomas had the game in the bag before Gray took control from one arsey shot."

No official statement from any commentator was available at the time.

We're usually in Manchester, but I wanted to know what'd be like to be the only bloke in Vegas.

Vegas may as well be the official location for the Biglands matches. Means people can spectate them easily enough when they are on, and it's usually empty of other people.

Richards nearly slaying the beast that is Fuller.
Nearly......

Word on the Biglands street is that Fuller took it sweet up the cracker by Richards.
....... and then Fuller won.

Other news, Bennett was upstaged (some say humiliated) by one Jamee Gray .... Bennett, taking the loss personally, then turned up the heat and showed his critics what he is all about, pwning Gray by 100 points or so.

In other news, Demeza beat Richards 75-25.

The practice matches heat up, ..... some bitter words have been thrown around and no one knows how serious the actual cup will get...
