having 5 players not selected and Lewsey going off injured didn't help...

O Magne, R Ibanez have now been called up

S Byrne will he return to the ireland squad after their dissapointing display?

how long is Ryan Jones out for - the whole tournament?

Jauzion will be back next week right?

    will Lewsey be out now?

Er, I think you're allowed a max. of 5 changes in a week, total of 10 over the whole tournament.

Think I might risk keeping Lewsey...well, depends on the verdict on his scan this afternoon. Valbon's going...he did nowt yesterday.

    COME ON YOU BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe I'm joint 3rd, not one person in my entire team scored a try.

Jones out for whole tournament, yes. Jauzion out for 3 weeks, apparently. He's broken his ickle toe!

Haven't heard about Byrne, but Flannery (his replacement as Mick hooker) scored a try so I wouldn't bank on him starting.

Fingers crossed for Lewsey, although Voyce did well in his absence.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Clearly I didn't cross them hard enough! Lewsey out of the Italy game:

I presume Voyce will go to 15, which means Tom Varndell may get a spot on the bench. If he gets on in the last 15-20 against a tiring team he could do some serious damage. The boy's very quick.

Amazing, I absolutely have no try scorers in the France v Ireland game which had 10 tries or something. Yet I have all of the points scorers for England, including 3 tries so far.

Bleh, had the wrong friggin Bergamasco tho.

Latest update is up. Storming round for SKD who moves up to second from seventh & there's also upwards movement from Marc who nips into third ahead of his dear chum Scaly by the odd point.

Anna is sadly the week's biggest faller, dropping from second to sixth, but a mere ten points seperate second from seventh.

I think with the burkester's form being what it is you have a sporting chance of avoiding the spoon!

great round for me, Stringer, Hodgson and Thomas did it for me really but perhaps the biggest improvement was actually having players who were in thir sides!

Looks pretty solid. I have to be honest & say that 'cos the comp doesn't differentiate between forward postions I went for 8 back-rowers on the grounds they're most likely to score.

Major changes for me this week: I've currently got Gareth Thomas (out for comp) & Heymans, Bonnaire & Voyce (all benched). If I was Heymans I'd be pretty galled (pardon the pun!) to be dropped; he scored 2 tries v The Micks & has been my top boy over the first 2 weeks apart from Charlie H.

The 3rd week update is posted. The top 4 are still as you were, but Anna & Steds both climb above Simmy who slips down to 7th.

Matteh's unsurprisingly at the bottom after entering the comp 2 rounds late, but he's only 5 points behind the ailing burkey who's been in since the off!
