    BBC Sports personality

Ashes and Champions Trophy semi-final vs. Ashes, world cup winners, T20 world cup winners. Yeah, I can see why the men's cricket team beat the women to 'team of the year'

And the complete lack of personality in the English men's cricket team really shows they were a guaranteed winner for Best Team at Sports Personality of the Year.

They obviously showed plenty of 'good character' in order to take this prize out.

They do look like a right lot, sat there in their white t-shirts with their short dark hair and looking very normal.

Well, yeah, but it's always the problem with footballers where it's more of a career thing than a one-off event like winning a gold medal. Anyway, he did get PFA player of the year, so it's fair enough imo.
