And the complete lack of personality in the English men's cricket team really shows they were a guaranteed winner for Best Team at Sports Personality of the Year.

They obviously showed plenty of 'good character' in order to take this prize out.

They do look like a right lot, sat there in their white t-shirts with their short dark hair and looking very normal.

So basically, you're saying it's a sympathy vote because he's as good as the other players but is older despite not being anything like the best player going. Whereas quite a few of the other candidates are actually the pinacle of their sports.
