Who has a better national soccer team ?

Mexico played against the likes of Brazil and Argentina. That would be like Arsenal playing Chelsea. Sure they played some substandard teams but every major team comes up against them and should beat them convincingly which Mexico did.

thats completely true and i accept that, but by beating poor sides and drawing against decent ones isnt enough to earn yourself a place around top ten in the world rankings imo.

According to FIFA it is. They did manage to beat some of the decent teams though.

that is true, but its a flawed system all the same imo. To rank them above england and holland and italy is hugely misleading.

They have played more games recently than those teams. Come the WC it could look different.

but probably wont, they may go down a few places, but if italy and england and the suchlikes stodge it up as they always seem to then it probably wouldnt change all that much, esspecially if mexico press through to the second round.
