They're always changing things to make F1 safer (they say), but how does making cars going at those speeds on worn tyres, make F1 safer? IMO they're making it much more dangerous. Tyre blow outs at any speed is extremely dangerous. That's why we have laws against driving with worn tyres. There seems to me to be more tyre blow outs so far this season than ever before and we've hardly started the season. Originally the pit stops were for changing tyres, the refuelling part came later. They can just as well go back to full tanks of fuel and have no pit stops. Flat out racing from start to finish
