Brummies - Dirty Leeds is off, so instead I'll go for United against Villa.

Guess I need to change then. I'll go for Cardiff to beat Southend.

Couldn't. Winter sports take precedence over reading CW on Saturdays.

If you really want to be nasty, I suppose it's Everton v Reading. *sigh*

How has the biathlon gone recently? Lost track of it a bit.

(Prepares to be kicked out of thread).

Norway took 1-2-3 in today's race (which I didn't watch, more important sports on). The Russians had good skis in Oberhof and won a lot there. Greis still leads the World Cup IIRC.

(should make a winter sports thread. )

Should do. Will look into it, there should be a fair bit of action with the World Championships coming up.

Looks like five fallers at the first hurdle:

    Vimes: Everton 1 v Reading 1
Luffy: Everton 1 to beat Reading 1
Jungle Jumbo: Cardiff 0 to beat Southend 1
marc: Oxford 2 to beat Halifax 2
Cloete: Cardiff 0 over Southend 1

    Ten live to fight on:

skd: Huddersfield 2 to beat Cheltenham 0
    Matteh: Grays 4 to beat Weston-S-Mare 0
Pickup: Morecambe 5 to be too good for Mangotsfield 0
Brumby: Chavski 4 to beat Wigan 0
Grecian: ManU 3 to beat Villa 1
Goughy: Liverpool 3 over Watford 0
    roseboy: Watford 0 v Liverpool 3
    Baconator: Barnsley 0 v Preston 1
Halsey: United 3 against Villa 1
Jamee: Rushden and Diamonds 1 to beat Witton Albion 0

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

A bit close for comfort, but I guess that picking the team I'd heard of against a team I hadn't worked.

The Whole Week's Fixtures I guess that Sunday's will be up tomorrow.
