A survey has found that Lancashire produces the most sporting stars of any county within the UK. London was second and Yorkshi*e 3rd.

Worcestershire and Tyne & Wear were the least successful.

The study was carried out for the Barclays Space For Sport project, which aims to encourage grassroots sport around the country.

Always knew we were the best :p

How did East Anglia do?

We're not exactly overburdened with sporting greats! Sir Clive & Jack Hobbs excepted, obv!
