I think the Hurricanes have a great chance of making at least the semis this year, wouldn't be surprised at all if they had a good season.

I'll still go out and support the Blues though...and probably watch Carlos turn down countless point scoring opportunities yet again...sigh.

I see Matt Giteau has busted his hand in The Brumbies' warm-up game with The Hurricanes. Out for a month.

Better re-jig my team a bit....

There are enough replays on foxtel of past rugby league games to get you warmed up. You don't need to lower yourself to union.

That was one of the great teams of all time. They had the 2002 semi final v the Roosters on two nights ago. I forgot how Langer used to tackle with his leg.

i went to that game, we were completely outclassed in the first half but still lead at halftime, was a very disapointing night....
i think this year will be something special though...

With Thorn, Hodges (eventhough nobody likes him), Lockyer with a year under his belt at 5/8, fully fit Seymour we have a very, very dangerous team.

agreed, i thought our only weakness was the second wing spot, im not convinced with Tame Topou, but ive heard good things about Leon Bott, if one of em goes to that next level this season we have no problems anywhere on the park. even if seymour cant get a full season in, barnes is probably ready for a crack and that could be an even more positive sign!
