And regressing back to the last few seasons.

Just giving them soft penalties when Ireland aren't going anywhere.

Consistent early hits at the scrum from Ireland, but they get the penalty.

Apart from a 10-15 minutes of indiscipline it was impressive how controlled England were.

A bit more luck and they'd have won by 10-15.

Yeah, far from perfect and certainly not pretty, but a merited win.

Think we need more pace in the backs tho; looked a lot more dynamic when big Manu arrived.

Looks like a win for the ovine botherers coming up.

Italy not really got the sort of game to come back from 10 points, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Well it wasn't pretty, but beating the French is never a bad thing.

"Big" Jim Hamilton gets his nickname from his size not his IQ, tbf.

Seriously awful game, it must be said. I enjoy a proper grind as much as the next man, but it was just bitty shyte.

Joubert's reffing didn't help. Whistled for pretty much every breakdown and still contrived to miss at least three blatant knock ons too.

I'm not sure you'd get away with that even in american football.

Really weird call from the TMO on some obvious interference and the French try came from about four successive curious decisions in France's favour. Dunno if we can really complain having not scored for the entire second half, though.

Irish coming second quite badly here.

Injuries not helping either, tbf to them.
