Who thinks the Raiders can make the finals?? I think they should they are playing Sharks we could win that, Tigers we should win that, Storm we have no chance against them they are our bogey team and we have the bye.

Raiders probably only need to win one or two more, they could scrape in on 28 with the bye and one win, but to be safe they'd like 2 wins...
i think they'll make it comfortably...

Sculthorpe's Tri-Nations in doubt

Only interesting because we were discussing him the other day and the general consensus is "I hope to God he won't go, because the way he's playing the aussies will just embarrass him."
Getting like that Beckham situation where everyone wants him dropped, but it's more or less impossible to because he's the national team captain and the face of the sport in this country. Sculthorpe doesn't even deserve his place in the Saints side these days. Good luck that injuries may provide a convenient excuse to leave him out of the Tri-Nations, imo.

How old is Sculthorpe now? Sounds like he's falling apart.

Few more niggles & the RFU will sign him...

28.

On the bright side, Australia have a Rabbitohs player in their training squad. They must be struggling...

TBF Merritt's been top try scorer down there, so it's probably a fair enough shout.

Merritt is 1000's to make the squad, i think you'll find Eric Grothe will be the only specialist winger to make our squad, guys like Cooper, King and maybe Tate will cover the wing...

Cardiff to host a whole round of Super League.
Interesting idea. Not too much of a fan, though. Can't see how it'll help "the progress rugby league is making in Wales." The guarantee that swarms of Yorkies will be hitting my country for a whole weekend would put me off the sport. And if Saints' game is one that would have otherwise been held at KR, I'll be reet ****ed off.

Least they're trying, I guess. Could wind up with an SL team there eventually.

Hard to know which side to take in the argument, really. On the one hand you'd like to see League widen its appeal, but on the other you don't want to alienate its natural consituency either. I'm in favour of Les Catalans, but if it's 3 spoons in 3 years the plug should be pulled IMHO.

Apparently there is a league team in Somerset (Vikings?) who are doing well and might get promoted to some competition or other?
I'd rather you kept that stuff a long way north of Cheltenham...
