Well I had queried this earlier and was said it would move in G.P.

It will be almost impossible to erase an earlier lead if we dont do it this way.

This way each round will be given equal weightage (64 points in total) and is the way to do it..

naa that way is stupid, it means u can get flogged every day until the last 2 days and win, easily, the accumulation of adding 1 extra point per round still gives a chance to catch up if u r close enough...

If there are 64 points for each round, and you get flogged in each round, you will be so far away, you cant win no matter what by the end of it.

By the current points system, the winners will be pretty much decided by the end of round two with practically very little chance of chasing by the others and no interest shown by those trailing..

I couldn't give a rat's ass. (Maybe because the #1 tennis player in NZ is ranked 631 in the world...embarrassing really).
Anyone else wonder why we kiwis are so ****e at tennis?
We're usually reasonable at most other ball sports and it's not as if the weather is that bad or we don't have any tennis courts.

Yep. The first day, there were so many more known players whose names I had heard of atleast. Not that much to look forward to on day two.
