Yep. The first day, there were so many more known players whose names I had heard of atleast. Not that much to look forward to on day two.

Srichapan is in the middle of a war right now..
How many matches have been completed and how many to go for any one having an idea?

I have been fooled by Star Sports then. They are showing Srichapan's match as 'live' in tv. Frauds!

[edit - as if they here me, they now remove the live from under the channel symbol!]

For the first 4-5 days they schedule the most one sided matches on the centre court and it is pretty boring watching them but there are always good matches going on in the outer courts which we internationals can't see

Ya i know that but atleast the TV broadcasters shaould have some sense and show some other matches in between too. I mean anyone would choose to watch a NZ Vs WI over Aus Vs Bang anyday

To be fair to Star Sports, they do show the other matches like they were showing the Srichapan match earlier as well. Then there was the match of the Korean player (Kim was it?) they were showing. They tend to show the matches of the other courts while the sets are ending last 2-4 games which isnt a bore. And show Asian matches more as well which gives some competitive action.

People also like to see the form of top players in these earlier matches which is why these matches are a good watch as well.

Only 9 of the 16 people who had given their picks for day 1 have given picks for day 2. Just a few hours left before play on day two starts. So put in your picks fast!
