This player caught my eye last week. I will be watching him again on the weekend closely. Do you rate him?

I was impressed with the Aussie defence last week. should be a good game.

I hope that Barnes is not a let down at 12. I remember him butchering a try with the line open right in front of him last year. Would have changed the game. Looks classy and composed at all times.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

Think the premise of O'Connor on the wing is he has the roving commision that Ioane had at the Reds (and would have had if not for the dicky shoulder...I hope like hell he is fit for the WC next year.) to inject wherever he want in attack...will be interesting to see him mark up on Jane/Dagg though...I rate Dagg quite highly and would near have him in the starting side for Rokococo tbh.

Looking forward to Ant Fingers getting a run, I'd love to see a return to the hard running 12 days, enough of this 2 ball players stuff!

In the interests of trans-tasman rivalry, I'll throw out an avatar challenge to the kiwi members. I'll take Wallabies for the win - You have AB's for the win... 1 week

The difference in quality here is quite simply outstanding. NZ will rack up 40 odd here.

Ridiculously entertaining first half - brilliant attitude from both sides to keep the ball in hand, and ironically on the few occasions that defensive kicks have been attempted, theres been two charge downs leading to tries. Bit disappointing that Joubert's had to yellow card a player on both sides, I didn't get a good view of Franks' shoulder charge though by the sounds of it the yellow was deserved, and didn't see Mitchell's foul play at all so can't really comment.

So stupid from Mitchell, ref couldn't have given a clearer warning to either captain/team that time wasting wasn't on, yet he still tried to get away with it whilst he was on a card

AB's just way to good though.

Oh dear. Wallabies always up against it, but going a player down is suicide.

Be happy to keep it under 60 tbh.

Carter looked dirty missing the kick to get 50 points, great player, but his goal kicking ain't great.

Yup following through with his previous warning regarding throwing the ball away from the opposition when they were the only ones entitled to it is fair enough and Mitchell has no one else to blame but himself. I almost wish more referees stamped their authority on that aspect of the game, it'd potentially speed the game up to an even greater extent. Out of interest, did anyone see the incident that led to Mitchell's first yellow card?

Hes had a few tests in recent times where his kicking's been somewhat average - I still can't understand how world class players can miss kicks, on their favoured sides, with a roof on the stadium (i.e. so conditions have absolutely no impact).

Agreed re. Mealamu, he had a great game, as did McCaw (although whether he deserved MOTM is another issue) and Kaino also stood out for me on defence. Obviously on attack Cory Jane caught the eye. Muliaina brillaint at the back defending and indeed on attack with two tries.
