Did laugh at that myself - I know Flood will argue his side were better off regrouping at halftime and so kicking the ball dead was the right option but its hardly the way to give into halftime on a positive note...

Oz props aren't taking a square hit; any pressure and they go to grass. Owens pinging Cole before the break was farcical.

Care flat out dire tho; has bollocks for hands and can't pass. Yeah, he's quick(ish), but I want more in my scrum-halves.

This is why I love rugby. Nothing like 15 scrum resets.

    What a spectacle.

TBF if your blokes hit square we'd just have one each time. The card was long overdue.

Another penalty try. Crowd don't like it, but it's the correct call. Push straight or face the consequences.

Never seen a worse test front three tho, it must be said.

They're crap, no doubt. Just a bizarre sport that places such emphasis on an aspect where the game is static and the crowd can't see the bloody ball.

As my old games master used to say: league is for the fans, union's for the players.

3rd choice front-row pair at best (so no. 5 and 6 ranked props) and 3/4 ranked hooker

If Eng hadnt pushed that side around the park, there should've been a royal commission

Does Ben Foden really grasp how to kick effectively? He is very high drop with a high arch leg, gets under it, and can't hit distance.

    I like Quade.

    RIP Andy Ripley

    From the BBC.

Ex-England and British Lions back row passes away at just 62. Was an amazing athlete; won the BBC's iconic Superstars comp and, not mentioned in the obit, nearly qualified for the Cambridge crew in the boat race at 50.
