Tait & Abendanon(andon) are both injured or I suspect either would've started at full-back ahead of Armitage. Geraghty was over-looked in favour of Flutey, sadly.

What is with that I have heard that Craig Gower's club Bayonne are prepared to offer Matt Giteau a four year deal worth $10m?

**** me, that's silly money. Especially in light of the western world's financial system imploding.

Not looking forward to today at all, meanwhile. Could get ugly.

Really great to see a school-mate of mine in the NZ Sevens squad, I reckon he'll be the second All Black we've ever produced.

Was going to make a comeback for the Highlanders or Otago next season I think, but has picked up an injury. Not sure on the latest.

Always preferred him to Merhts too.

Shame Wales Aus is on the same time, at least that game could be competitive.

The only thing England are likely to win this afternoon is the Haka..

Toby Flood has the same surname as my girlfriend and I'm struggling to work out who the better kicker is..

    Wales beat Australia, mildly surprising.

England looking more useless by the minute.

    Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Only Carter's (suprising) uslessness with the boot kept us in it for 60 minutes. As soon as NZ scored it was a procession.

Fair play to the Taffs tho.
