Undue restriction on All Rounders

The current format of player selection is lopsided. There are 5 slots for specialist batsmen and only 2 slots for All Rounders. However, there is a large number of top batsmen from some countries (West Indies, New Zealand and South Africa) who fall into the All Rounder category, making their selection into the Fantasy Cricket team very difficult.

There should be flexibility here - because there doesn't seem to be any value in having this undue restriction. A suggestion would be to have 4 specialist batsman slots and 1 Batsman/AR option, in addition to the 2 AR, 1 WK and 3 Bowlers. It can be made even more realistic by having 1 Batsman/AR, 1 AR and 1 Bowler/AR option, giving more choice to have 4 bowlers in a team. Please consider for future tournaments.

We've only just changed from 1 to 2 all rounders (partly due to my nagging of James ;)) - I think 2 is about right, as most sides only play 2 ODI all rounders - a lot of batsmen who fill in 2 or 3 overs don't bowl enough to be classed as an all rounder, and we had quite a long discussion regarding who should be classed an all rounder.

In real life, how many sides only play 4 batsmen and then 6 players who are all expected to bowl more than 7 or 8 overs a game, not many, because you end up underutilising players then.

West Indies? Chanderpaul, Sarwan, Lara, Simmons (:p) and then a bunch of allrounders.
