Hungary still has the goalkeeper who keeps in long pants and Eiður Gudjohnsen will play for Iceland. I believe they both made their debut around the time the Habsburg Empire still existed.

Actually didn't know he had played for Notlob.

In a twist not even luckyeddie could have invented, he now plays for the even more objectionable Molde, a club bankrolled by a mad Norwegian fisheries billionaire and coached by the dodgy golden boy Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Saw him miss an open goal at Prenton Park and within years he was playing for Barcelona. ****

Haha Gabor Kiraly and his grey tracksuit bottoms! What a hero. Thought he would be long gone by now.

Some good goals and tidy attractive football on show in that game. Would wager we won't be able to say that about the 8pm kickoff.

Portugal have been a bit better than expected.

Just realised I forgot to put the Nani top goal scorer 150/1 bet on. Better not ****ing happen.

Iceland keeper looks super suspect. Might just be nerves, but he's looked really unconvincing with almost everything he's had to deal with.

Anyway, great result for Iceland. Portugal reverting to (uninspiring) type after a somewhat promising start.
