Anyone else watching?

Nani has very much done his best this Tournament to prove more unlikeable than his mate on the Left Wing.

Not been impressed much by Negredo so far tho'

Nani is being Nani, pretty much - no better or worse than normal.

Negredo has been such a waste of space that it's now inevitable he'll score.

Yep. Just the usual stuff, cynical professional fouls either going unpunished or at worst a yellow card and a free kick which is generally infinitely less dangerous than the position the attacking team were in.

Really need to give the referee the option to sin bin or advance the free kick to a position where it is more dangerous than the position that preceded it. For goal line hand balls just give the goal. For last man situations give a penalty.

No doubt, just think he's infinitely less likeable than Ronaldo, which is quite an achievement really.

Ronaldo is obviously a sensational player but he is also ****ing selfish

There were 2 Portugese free outside the box when he had a crack at that free kick from an impossible angle and his first, and generally only, thought is to shoot from anywhere

Fabregas on for Negredo - will be interesting to see how much better Spain are with 11 players rather than 10.

How the **** was that even a foul let alone a yellow card? Has FIFA outlawed going for headers?

Utterly absurd game when things like that get the same punishment as a cynical take-out during a counter attack. Actually they get a worse punishment because of the situation of the free kick versus what was happening previous to it.

If you get given a yellow in one match... then a yellow in the next match meaning you miss the match after... what happens if the umpire ****s up and on video it clearly shows it wasn't deserving of a yellow card (the other player takes a dive)? Are you allowed to appeal the decision to a tribunal or do you just have to take it on the chin?

Sharapova-pironkova diverted my attention from this match, can't think why, they're actually more feminine in this game.

Don't get why Spain bring on Navas without a proper Centre Forward - is generally a more direct player than the rest of Spains midfield, yet he's kept waiting after getting forward too often because there's no-one in the box.

Convoluted rules different all over the place TBH, but I don't think you can appeal a yellow, for some utterly bizarre reason, and only a red if the ref didn't see it, or summat. It's a farce to be fair, all about refs decisions being respected on the field, but of course it has the opposite effect.

If they wanted to be serious about respecting the umpire then they should probably crack down on players running up to him and pushing/grabbing him itbt.

Speaking to the converted TBH. Hardly any football fan is happy with the stupid-ass way the game is run.

Or how awful the latter stages of Tournaments are, just such a poor reflection of the game when everyones afraid to lose, but wadda ya gonna do.

And again. Portugal guy goes for a header. Spaniard wimps out and backs into then has a cry when he takes a knock. Free kick Spain.

And Ronaldo bollockses up the chance to win the game.

Don't think you can even appeal reds in tournaments can you?

FA rules used to be that the only yellows you could appeal were ones that led to a suspension, be it is the 5th of the season (before March) or the second in a match. Probably changed though.

I really can't keep up TBH, in the lower leagues whenever we appeal we fail and it costs us money, no matter how blatantly wrong it is. Just ****ing pathetic.
