Yeah, possibly, was too drunk on cool brittania, britpop, and well alcohol at the time to remember much.

So Baros has retired from international football - just 3 weeks too late.

I don't usually look forward to spiteful, potentially borderline-violent sporting matches, buuuut....

Gomez, Podolski and Muller out; Klose, Reus and Schurrle in.

First 2 are good moves IMO, Klose links up much better with Ozil than Gomez does and Podolski has been Germany's worst player.

Fabregas showing his CDMs training there. Sees the arm coming over so he grabs it to try and make it look like he's been pushed and then falls over.

One of the few times I'll ever want France to win.

Rib-tickling defence all-round from Johnny Frenchy.

I think the French keeper made an utter horlicks of that - committed way too far left, for way too long, and was totally off balance at the point Alonso met his head when it was clear to everyone that he'd be meeting it and heading at goal.

That was a trifle dull, hope our French cousins can get their derrieres in gear in the second half.

Perhaps could have done a bit better, but I don't think it was too much of a gaffe.

Spain are so tedious, scored a goal the only time they tried to and now they can kill the game. Was a pretty good argument for the no-striker formation though tbf- the French defence had no idea who was going to arrive in the box or when they'd get there.
