Euro 2012 Tipping Comp
I know Brumby has something of a mortgage on these things, but unless there were any objections I thought it's probably time someone gave the man a break and picked up the slack.
The scoring system will be the same as that which was used in the 2010 World Cup Comp; - For each game you predict an actual score; eg: Poland 2 Greece 2. - For a correct prediction of a win you score 1 point; eg: you tip POL 1 GRE 0 and POL win 3-0. - For a correct prediction of a draw you score 2 points; eg: you tip POL 0 GRE 0 and it's a 1-1 draw. - For a correct prediction of a margin of victory you also score 2 points; eg: you tip POL 1 GRE 0 & the result is POL 2 GRE 1. NB: you will not also receive a point for predicting the win. - For a correct prediction of the actual scoreline you receive 3 points; eg: you tip POL 0 GRE 2 and it comes to pass. NB: you will not also receive a point for the win or two points if the result is a draw. - For all incorrect predictions you will score -1; eg: you tip POL 2 GRE 0 and the actual result is a 1-1 draw. - The highest points scorer(s) on each day with games played on will receive a daily bonus of .01, to be used for tie-breaking purposes. - Non-tippers will receive the day's lowest score for 3 days, then be removed from the comp. - Late comers can join on the lowest actual score minus one point. ----- Friday 8 June Poland v Greece Russia v Czech Republic Saturday 9 June Netherlands v Denmark Germany v Portugal Sunday 10 June Spain v Italy Republic of Ireland v Croatia Monday 11 June France v England Ukraine v Sweden Tuesday 12 June Greece v Czech Republic Poland v Russia Wednesday 13 June Denmark v Portugal Netherlands v Germany Thursday 14 June Italy v Croatia Spain v Republic of Ireland Friday 15 June Ukraine v France Sweden v England Saturday 16 June Czech Republic v Poland Greece v Russia Sunday 17 June Portugal v Netherlands Denmark v Germany Monday 18 June Croatia v Spain Italy v Republic of Ireland Tuesday 19 June England v Ukraine Sweden v France ----- Just Copy & Paste the fixture list with your scores included. You can tip the lot in one go or do it on an day by day basis. If you're changing tips, please do not edit the post, rather quote your original tips, along with the new ones. Easy, right?
