Paddy Power just tweeted this, about a minute before the goal

"IRELAND: clearly England fans are not liking the banter on our Twitter page, lots of cash coming in for Jelavic next GS @ 9/2..."

Good. I'm finding it great commenting on sports without watching it, doesn't change my perspective much. It like being the vast majority of posters on Exeweb.

Been a good half of football, actually. Defending's tended towards the slapstick, but it's made for an open game.

Great finish by Jelavic. If he has a good tournament old Bungling Bill will sell him for about £12m and sit with his smug grin after making a tidy profit on him.

Haha was gonna post about his accent.

Sounds like he should be in the one 4

That won't mean anything to any of you, but yeah.

Ireland being outplayed but that was a pen. Would have made it a good finish. As it is it should be easy for Croatia.

Croatia didn't look very secure at the back, and didn't handle Ireland's hoof ball too well either - almost always losing the first and second ball.
