Not all that surprised from what happened. I put money on Holland/Denmark drawing. Danes aren't just going to roll over and in Kjaer and Agger they've got a solid centre half pairing and they play to their strengths. RVP being meh was inevitable, happens so often when a player smashed it domestically.

Good game this. Might get some Ronaldo blubbering if Bendtner can make it a hat-trick.

This is quite amusing, Ronaldo missing chances, and Bendtner being clinical, funny old game ..

It's the tournament of the Arsenal loanees so far.
First Arshavin and now Bendtner. Mind you, that's some strike to give the Portuguese the lead again.

Oh well.
Portugal weren't going to be eliminated by a draw. They could have gone out with the sequence of Germany drawing/beating Holland and then Denmark drawing/winning against Germany in the last game - I think Germany would fancy stuffing Denmark with their ruthless efficiency. |

Holland/Netherlands whatever they're called only really need a draw here. The only way they could go out if they draw this and then beat Portugal is by goals scored. Even then that would have to include Denmark getting a draw/win against Germany. Netherlands can't have a worse goal difference than Germany or Denmark if they finish on 4 points. So Netherlands would still have it very much in their own hands if they draw tonight.
Just putting it out there before we get the must win bollocks. |
