Hmm. Back to the future.

Interesting the two enforced changes are chaps who didn't make the flight tho.
Probably why he didn't want Johnson in there to make it 3 and make him look a bit more stupid. Playing two calamitous goalkeepers ahead of Hart was just such a blatant cock-up as well. You've got clearly better players who can handle it, seems like he went for experience just for the sake of it.

Really getting pissed off with Rooney. He plays as a forward when the ball is in midfield. When the midfield moves forward he comes back and lays the ball off 2 yards and continues running to the centre circle whilst the cross or through ball comes seconds later. He did that at least 3 times in the first half. Absolutely pointless, as well as putting in another complete ****house performance thus far.

Decent enough from England so far without being too impressive. Get Johnson on the pitch, playing well at the moment and plenty of confidence. Have money on Defoe and 3-0, so need some goals!!!

On the bright side, your team isn't on the way to the third successive draw against a wind-blown island where you can play football half the year and most of the male population plays handball.

I'd guess you'd got pretty decent odds on that - 33s or so? Cross fingers that we shut up shop now, I suppose...

Or not.

Don't think the odds were quite as good as that. It doesn't matter now thanks to Defoe getting too greedy and settling for a double!!

Norway somehow fluked a win.

In funnier news, Cyprus has just scored on Portugal again...so it's been 1-1, 2-2 and 3-3
