The question is, do you try and tailor a pitch to your strongest suit (in our case, probably preparing a road), or do you try and boost your weaknesses up (probably a spinner's pitch, given we have a number of spinners - Beaver, Loganathan, Lewis, Furball, myself - but only Beaver is >90)?

Our best spinner is Hairy Beaver ably supported by PEWS and Loganathan is an unknown as he didn't play any warm up games iirc but he has 70 bowling points.

you and GF are part timers - so I don't know how good you will be even on a bunsen.

Let me put together an analysis hang on...

Sriram and Himann are good specialist spinners are both are in Howe's team - I would be wary of making out pitch too spinner friendly.

Interesting to see we have no FMs. Going through the regos, they don't seem to be in abundance at all. Will we be penalised slightly on a lack of bowling variety? We only have the one medium as well, I think.

Moving my post to the Quick Topic as Agent TBY has suggested that this information may become confidential

Yeah, looks good to me. Wouldn't mind the QT link either.

Pitch conditions will be openly disclosed anyhow - talk of keeping this information as confidential was merely an idea floated; one deemed inpractical and unfair, given the public discussions which have already taken place on the matter. Disclosure of conditions will also allow teams to select "horses for courses" so to speak, giving further and more incentivised oppurtunity for squad rotation.

Lads would like some input into the pitch conditions -

Here is the current proposal from Dan any objections:

Quote:
7-4-4 the best balanced IMO. Something in it for the quicks and spinners, while still being pacey and bouncy for batsmen and encouraging results.

7-4-4 will be fine.
