I'd like to formally withdraw for the race. I was keen to lead a team in the trials to help things get underway but I don't think I'll be able to commit to it full time throughout the season.

DB Wayne and I are a joint ticket. He will be my vice captain with equal say in the drafting process. We will put our policy/platform and election bribes shortly.

Towards the end - I wish to request that captains and vice captains be automatically given to their teams without having to be drafted. I think that would make the most sense.

Good. I was going to opt for the -1 vote for PEWS anyway, he's just taken the easy way out.

I'd feel rejected being the one left out when this is finalised.

Is it possible to run simply as a Vice Captain?

It is; either state this in your platform of find a captain to run as a dual-ballot.

Captains and vice-captains, once elected, will be autmotically assigned to the 3 teams; and from there the draft will commence to fill the squads.

Please note my player will be abstaining from the voting process; but I as the CWCA reserve the right to cast a deciding vote, if such a situation should arise.

I presume it would be frowned upon to vote for yourself?

Vote for the Hurricane/Wayne Ticket by voting for Hurricane in the captaincy election.

Our platform - we believe in the drafting process and we will seek to draft a balanced team of batsman bowlers and all rounders so that we can be a competitive team.
Executive Positions - Club President open, media manager open, recruitment officer for future seasons open. Captain Hurricane, Vice Captain DB Wayne
Team name - TBD by team vote
Team logo - Fizzing at the bung for cricket
Team Home Ground - The Beach
Special considerations - We will run a quick topic for private team tactical discussions. We will send out the url to members.
Game Time If you are drafted you are guaranteed playing time in your chosen specialisation.
Experience - Dan and I have already had turns doing the captaincy roles in the pre-season

Other incentives if you vote for us - girls like this will flock to you tomorrow:

Only if you frown upon politicians.

Actually no, that's too leading. Yes you may, no judgement here
