*Official* CW U19s in Europe

Well there is still three weeks till the start European tour for the Under 19s, but we have our first off season match against England A in about a week. So I thought it was time to open the thread.

It should be pretty tough tour with the England U19 side performing quite well in Sri Lanka and young Stuart Broad expected to lead their attack, but I’m confident that our boys will be up to challenge.

England A:
May 15: England A, Goffmouth Park (OD)

European Tour:
27 May: Ireland U19 @ Belfast, Ireland (YODI)
28 May: Scotland U19 @ Edinburgh, Scotland (YODI)
29 May: Rest Day
30 May: England U19 @ Hove (1st YODI)
31 May: Rest Day
1 June: England U19 @ Tauton (2nd YODI)
2 June: Rest Day
3 June: England U19 @ Shenley (3rd YODI)
4 June: Rest Day
5 June: England U19 @ Sophia Gardens (1st Y. Test)
6 June: Rest Day
7 June: England U19 @ Worcester (2nd Y. Test)
8 June: Rest Day
9 June: England U19 @ Leicester (3rd Y. Test)

Fell free to discuss Under 19s selections and generally CW U19 stuff.

Looks good. Am hoping that I will get a chance to redeem myself after going wicketless in the OD series earlier.

Cameron, I think both you and I are ineligible, we were top age during last season. Not sure if Liam updates the ages at the commencement of the season or at the end of the previous one.

Time to get our grooves on, boys. We can win this if we do our best!
Congrats to whoever gets picked :)

Your still eligible as far as i know, but you would probably be on the ODI tour at the time of the tour anyway...

The Latvians love their cricket. They'll be gutted at missing out on the under-19's touring.

Andy is legible, according to the birthdates we have been provided with by the CW board.

You on the other hand, Dauth, are well old and past your prime :(

Why are Ireland playing their game in Northern Ireland? :p
Because, like the Irish rugby team, the Irish cricket team represent the whole of the Emerald Isle. As such, they play all over the island, too.

Hollands U19 team is about as good as Scotlands U19 team. I think they should play.
let me hear if you need holland research done.
