I sense that Gundry, Edmunds, McKern were selected more for OD than the longer form. Also, Gundry and Roberts are spinners, so you can't compare yourself to them. I also sense that there's no way you can pick yourself ahead of Andy Cameron, as he played a lot more matches and had a hefty haul of 50 wickets at a good average. Not sure what the point of including Cameron in your post was in that case.

The squad was predominantly based around the one day game, as there are a couple more shorter games than longer.
Sure, you could say you were unlucky on not making the 15, but we believe we have put up the strongest squad for the situation.

Would never put myself ahead of Cameron. I included him as I was not just showing who I performed better than but putting the figures of all those selected there to allow comparision.

I did not draw any conclusions from the stats. I put them there for easy comparision. Obviously they show that Cameron was the alpha U'19 bowler last year.

I think (now drawing a conclusion) that they also show why I am really disappointed not to be selected.

Im more than a little sad now but I do understand that the selectors have a job to do and I want to make very clear that there are no hard feelings.
