Despite the stupidity of the sim, Edfield still won. Matt Smith, despite being a superior bowler, was not bowled. So, that's just stupid. Still, Edfield bowled well and flattened a laclustre Robbham bowling attack to win by 9 wickets. Stupid sim.

    Not thrilled, to be fair.

82 runs, 10/91. Apart from that a pretty ugly game, Robbham rolled over and died nearly as badly as Davistow. OK, not that badly, but bad nonetheless.

Happy with the five wickets, but then...

The Jets were knocked back a cog by the Seahawks, who get revenge for their previous 3 day loss. Most of the Dev League players failed to impact and it was left up to grade players to get the job done.

Batting 11 and not getting a bowl again. Again, not thrilled.

Campsfield Braves vs Greater Robbham de Grooters
    @ Camps Field
    MOTM: MT Mitchell
A Campsfield outfit without Blackman is no outfit, so it seems, as Campsfield fell to new lows, managing a meagre 63 in their first innings. Thankfully their second innings was a better affair, however it was not enough.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Davistow Darters vs Twybridge Titans
    @ Heathridge Oval
    MOTM: MR Hopgood
Davistow rode to victory on the back of 98* by Hopgood as Twybridge faltered in their fight for top spot, admittedly against a stacked Davistow side. Hopgood also contributed with the ball, claiming 7 wickets for the match.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Edfield Seahawks vs Maddington Frenzy
    @ Sanderston Ground
    MOTM: AK Syed
A match that could have gone either way, but only went one. Maddington proved too strong as they continue their winning ways. Edfield got close to stopping them, however the difference between the teams was about 25 runs.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

Fitzworthingham Broncos vs Garven Island Sharks
    @ Simmons Park
    MOTM: EAP McNamara
The Sharks were looking better than they have all season, both Fitzsimmons & Rose turning up for the game, however they still weren't enough to get the Sharks a victory. Unfortunately the Broncos had 6 Dev League players, and it was merely a formality.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Nixonstown Foxes vs Gofftown Tigers
    @ CW Oval
    MOTM: BB Fox
DC Adhikari kept the crowd entertained in his epic 26* off 338 balls as a century-less Nixonstown crept to 7/400 declared. Interestingly enough nobody else had such problems , after the match Adhikari reportedly reported to reporters "They all bowled well to me, it was as if they wanted to get me out." One crowd member was heard to say "I thought I was at the CW Test, and Mřrk & Kennett were in." Fortunately for the Foxes, their bowling was too much for a hapless Gofftown, who lacked the Adhikari Factor.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Pickford Panthers vs Stedingham Jets
    @ CW Oval (oops)
    MOTM: MJ Hogarth
All credit to the Panthers, after a terrible first innings performance they regrouped, and struck out, leaving the Jets reeling, giving them a chance at victory. Unfortunately Hogarth was up to the challenge, as he guided the Jets to a victory that almost deserted them.

Bah. Even Raghav's stopped taking wickets now. And Clapo got slogged out.

Disapointed I couldn't have more of an impact for the Broncos, but happy we got back to winning games.

Batting a bit dire considering i'm in pretty good touch, but bowled well that game. Kept it nice and tight and finally combined it with a few wickets.
