    Giant Bonanza May 21/22

Garven Island Sharks vs Davistow Darters
    @ Clowich Stadium
    MOTM: SV Raghav
The Sharks continued their awesome season with another loss, ensuring that they'll not leave last place any time soon. Raghav bowled exceptionally well for 12/140 for the match. He was aided by Ritchie who was unlucky to miss out on MOTM honours with 6/101 & innings of 97 & 25*. The match would've been much more one-sided had it not been for a gutsy 134 run 9th wicket stand by the Sharks, clearly the highlight of their season.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Gofftown Tigers vs Campsfield Braves
    @ Gofftown Oval
    MOTM: AJ Blackman
No-one would expect this name to be up in lights, he was so good he turned right round. Masterman produced another number 10 special.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

Greater Robbham de Grooters vs Pickford Panthers
    @ CW BAR Ground
    MOTM: MT Mitchell
Despite Gough's best efforts with the ball, the Panthers just couldn't compete with a fierce looking Robbham outfit. Mitchell and Amir tore through the weak batting and the Panthers slumped to yet another defeat.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Maddington Frenzy vs Fitzworthingham Broncos
    @ Bacchanalia Fields
    MOTM: AK Syed
In a match involving the two top teams of the competition, things should have been a lot closer. The Frenzy had other ideas, as the Broncos proved very vulnerable to quality opposition, and may lose their top spot.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Stedingham Jets vs Edfield Seahawks
    @ Jets Arena
    MOTM: T Bochat
The Jets come back to the winners circle with a win over table rivals Edfield, in yet another bowler dominated match, clearly the grade groundskeepers have participated in the arms market.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Twybridge Titans vs Nixonstown Foxes
    @ Riverside
    MOTM: BB Fox
Unfortunately for Nixonstown, the weren't able to capitalise on the excellent work done by young Fox, and managed to choke like CW Red, it was that bad. The Titans breath a sigh of relief after dodging a bullet, clutching victory from the jaws of defeat, and other clichés.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Garven Island Sharks vs Davistow Darters

    @ Clowich Stadium
    MOTM: MR Hopgood
Garven Island completed another thrilling loss, this time by 99 runs. Fitzsimmons failed to impact as the Sharks season just got messier.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Gofftown Tigers vs Campsfield Braves
    @ Gofftown Oval
    MOTM: AJ Blackman
That man again, clearly Gofftown gave up before the game had even begun, the sense of urgency in their innings was lacking, obviously thinking that Blackman would overhaul whatever they posted. He did, but it wasn't hard.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

Greater Robbham de Grooters vs Pickford Panthers

    @ CW Bar Ground
    MOTM: Kexing Su
    I thought 9/40 was deserving.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Maddington Frenzy vs Fitzworthingham Broncos

    @ Bacchanalia Fields
    MOTM: CR McMeekin
What a match to lose top spot to, the Frenzy come through with the goods, despite a massive Dev League presence by the Broncos.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Stedingham Jets vs Edfield Seahawks
    @ Jets Arena
    MOTM: A Herbert
The Jets were knocked back a cog by the Seahawks, who get revenge for their previous 3 day loss. Most of the Dev League players failed to impact and it was left up to grade players to get the job done.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Twybridge Titans vs Nixonstown Foxes
    @ Riverside
    MOTM: BC Donald
Blah, Nixonstown could've performed worse, I'm sure.

18 matches in a day. Just wow.

Solid play Edfield, in with a fair chance of making the play-offs. Poor effort by me in the OD though.

Good time for Raghav to return to form too. 7.8 wickets per match in 3-day, only McNamara takes more (and only three bowlers with better SR)

Edit: at Su. Activity check in order.

    Struggling Sharks

anyone else think Blackman's 360 was just a retaliation to Butler taking his highest FC score record?

At the same time as in Dev League cricket, really.

Vic came up with a decent suggestion: just degrade them to grade-level stats if they go inactive. (and take up old inactives)

Could do with one in Dev league IMO.

Looking through the cards in preparation for the Q3 ratings I noticed a lot of inactive players...
