Not to be picky, but is there a chance of avoiding the opening slot when playing the longer form of grade games? I'm only an opener in OD. Prefer #3-4 in 3/4/5 day games.

    15 May - switched to three-day

Campsfield Braves v Garven Island Sharks
    in Camps Field

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

    Campsfield pros: Blackman, Gooljar, Dunn

This game deposited an inevitable draw after Stuart caught Blackman for 29.

Garven Island Sharks (8pts) drew with Campsfield Braves (6pts)
Man of the Match: Tariq Ali (Campsfield)

    Davistow Darters v Maddington Frenzy
    in Heathridge Oval

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

    Davistow pros: Hopgood, Ritchie
Maddington pros: McMeekin, Syed, Payne. Youth: Malone jnr.

Alamgir Syed and Lee Payne shone with the bat for the Frenzy, one making 40 entertaining runs while the other saw off 78 deliveries. With the Darters lacking batting power, and some help from the amateurs the second time around, it was enough for a win despite Hopgood's massive 152 in the second innings.

Maddington Frenzy (17pts) beat Davistow Darters (1pt) by 72 runs
Man of the Match: M. R. Hopgood (Davistow)

    Edfield Seahawks v Gofftown Tigers
    in CWBCC Stadium

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

Edfield pros: Bharat, Rai, GN Nayak, Borcich, Clapham, MJ Smith

The Seahawks eked home to the challenging target of 190 after Nayak smashed an unbeaten 49, well supported by Borcich. The Tigers put up a brave fight but lacked the required zip in the final innings.

Edfield Seahawks (16pts) beat Gofftown Tigers (3pts) by five wickets
Man of the Match: G. N. Nayak (Edfield)

    Nixonstown Foxes v Fitzworthingham Broncos
    in Nixonstown Server

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

Nixonstown pros: Dravid, +Gray, Fox, Shah
Fitzworthingham pros: Ullungura, Arnold, Hogarth, Speirs, Williams, E McNamara

Jamee Gray and Ian Teisseire provided the bulk of the resistance for the Foxes, as they made a respectable 275 in the first innings. Then Shah demolished the in-form Broncos, taking seven for 55 in a desperate claim for a Colts spot, and only some thumping from Williams and Wallwork prevented a higher total. Fox then bashed 11 fours and two sixes in a scintillating 94, and the Foxes declared wit ha safe lead - they thought. A barrage of boundaries provided entertainment for the visitors, as they chased 396 in just 68 overs.

Fitzworthingham Broncos (12pts) beat Nixonstown Foxes (6pts) by seven wickets
Man of the Match: A. R. Arnold (Fitzworthingham)

    Pickford Panthers v Twybridge Titans
    in Pickford Reserve

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

    Pickford pros: Roberts, Su
Twybridge pros: Thompson, Das, Donald, Wilshere, Weber, Forner

An easy task for the Titans, as Forner and Weber feasted on a wicket with plenty in it, and Das provided an excellent knock from the opening position.

Twybridge Titans (19pts) beat Pickford Panthers (0pts) by ten wickets
Man of the Match: J. N. E. Forner (Twybridge)

Stedingham Jets v Greater Robbham de Grooters
    in Jets Arena

    Scorecard
    Ball By Ball

    Stedingham pros: +Gaukroger, Reddlapalli, Bochat
Greater Robbham pros: Dobson, Amir, Mitchell

Robbham wilted easily, not managing past 150, and neither Amir nor Mitchell were on top form with the ball. Bochat celebrated a nine-wicket-haul in the game.

Stedingham Jets (17pts) beat Greater Robbham de Grooters (1pt) by nine wickets
Man of the Match: T. Bochat (Stedingham)

    Code:
    Team P	W	L	D	T	BP	Pts

Might do an OD round later tonight to bring us closer to schedule again.

    Fitzworthingham in fantastic form.

Pretty sure I'm playing in the next OD game, so hopefully I can gain some OD form for myself.

I misread. I was holding up the show, Håk was waiting for me to sim the OD before he did the 3 Day. He even told me that, gah, my apologies.

I'm getting really sick of not scoring runs TBH. Maybe batting at #4 would help, if that's at all possible?

Campsfield Braves vs Garven Island Sharks
    @ PDV Dome
    MOTM: AJ Blackman
Hi, I'm Alex Blackman, yet again I dominated the grade attack, scoring 118 off 112 balls, I wasn't at my best, however I did enough.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Davistow Darters vs Maddington Frenzy

    @ Heathridge Oval
    MOTM: AK Syed
A modest total of 208 proved to be just enough as Davistow failed to capitalise on some solid middle order batting, and ultimately fell short as Syed tore out their heart. Or something like that.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Edfield Seahawks vs Gofftown Tigers
    @ Sanderston Ground
    MOTM: DK Rai
Rai was gutted after his MOTM performance, and rightfully so, he lost, despite 2/50 and a fine 93. Bharat was at fault according to Rai, her 64 off 116 taking far too long for the Seahawks to capitalise on what was otherwise a fine partnership of 152.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Nixonstown Foxes vs Fitzworthingham Broncos

@ The Incorrect Ground (Bacchanalia instead of that big one, what's it called? CW Oval? yeah, that's the one)
MOTM: PG Gundry & N Dravid
The Broncos fielded 4 specialist openers, 4 of which fell to the spin of Gundry. That's 4 out of 4, or 100%. Well done. This goes to prove that I rate bowling highly, as poor Dravid's 95* off 89 balls went completely unnoticed. An Emphatic 6 wicket win by the Foxes ensures that they get some points.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

    Pickford Panthers vs Twybridge Titans
    @ Pickford Reserve
    MOTM: JNE Forner
4/20 is something, said one Panther to another, after they were completely utterly thoroughly, and other such synonyms, demolished by a Rampant Titans outfit. Not one giant outfit, the entire team. Whatever. The Panthers, or should I say Kexing Su, bowled reasonably well to keep the Titans down to 4/219, Su's 4/56 being arguably the highlight of the innings. The less said about the Pickford innings the better, rest assured that their total was 2 less than 100, and 1 more than 97, if you catch my drift.
    Scorecard
    Ball by Ball

Stedingham Jets vs Greater Robbham de Grooters

    @ Jets Arena
    MOTM: T Bochat
Mamesh played a lovely 113 off 132 before attamepting to hoik Amir to score the winning runs. Wrong decision. Regardless the Jets cruised home to an easy win, chasing down 221 in an easy fashion. Gaukroger also scored a gritty 54 to support Mamesh. Amir was the only Robbham bowler to show any impact, with 2/47. Then there was the crowd which cheered on the Jets, they too contributed to the game. Oh yeah, Bochat got 6/37.

    Thanks for that Dave.

Disapointing to see the Broncos lose, but we're travelling well.

Whereabouts are we with grade cricket in relation to the Dev league schedule?
