Edfield v Stedingham @ PDV Dome

Code:
Edfield:	Stedingham:
Towns Stedman
Barnaby Wallis
James +Gaukroger
Bharat Prabhakar Rao
G Nayak Chaudhari
Satish Kumar	Deodhar
Rai Hogarth
GN Nayak	JB Buxton
Shoveller	Javed
MS Smith	Loganathan
+Baber Cameron
James Stedman and Megan Gaukroger then hit half-centuries, and though Luke Shoveller's leg spin yielded five wickets, Stedingham led by 90. However, though Cameron took another six wickets, Bharat and Nayak once again came up trumps for Edfield, and with Dan Rai further boosting his batting credentials with a splendid, patient 55, Edfield set Stedingham 252 to chase. Rai then tormented the lower order with four wickets, and though Stedman hit 61, the Jets were all out for 147.

Edfield Seahawks 224 & 341 beat
Stedingham Jets 314 & 147 by 104 runs

About sodding time I got some runs and 5 catches isn't too shabby either...shame about the loss though!! 8-)

The two minutes of inactivity is the reason. I never put you back in. Good thing someone is checking up on me. :)
I did actually play a game or two after that inactivity though, I believe. I opened the bowling and all...

Bad loss for us, but I had an awesome game personally. 3 wickets and two spectacular innings with not-outs. :D

Well played Collins.

Twybridge v Davistow @ Riverside

Code:
Twybridge:	Davistow:
Joslin Dawlat
Gunn McDonagh
Bokey +Jellett
Amresh Kumar	Langley
Buttsworth	Comley
Naidu Naik
Weber Ehsan
+Hale Chapman
White Cassidy
Cotterill	Kennett
Colabawala	Pradeep
Despite Tarick Weber failing somewhat with the ball, the Titans still prevailed in stunning fashion at the Riverside, with Bokey and Buttsworth slashing half-centuries. For the out-of-form Davistow, it was another disappointing outing, with only David Kennett (one for 39) and Ehsan Ahsan (57*) escaping with some respectability.

Davistow Darters 210/7 (50 ovs) lost to
Twybridge Titans 211/3 (32.5 ovs) by seven wickets

Nixonstown v Edfield @ Nixonstown Server

Code:
Nixonstown:	Edfield:
Prestwidge	Barnaby
Fensome Herbert
Adhikari	+Mørk
Grierson	Rai
Sanjeet James
Eccles Satish Kumar
Flanaghan	Galbraith
+Dalton Borcich
Riaz Whitehead
Gundry MS Smith
Clancroft	Shoveller
Nick Borcich bowled a fine opening spell and Dan Rai cleaned up the tail, and tight bowling abounded on the server. Paddy Gundry's 18 was nevertheless a highlight. 165 never looked enough to defend, and patient knocks from Rai and Borcich did the trick, though Gundry's economy was Utseya-like.

Nixonstown Foxes 164/8 (50 ovs) lost to
Edfield Seahawks 166/6 (46.4 ovs) by four wickets

Campsfield v Pickford @ CWBCC Stadium

Code:
Campsfield:	Pickford
Langdon Richings
Jahangir	Bhattacharjee
Singh de Silva
Hasabnis	+Bharanidharan
Gooljar Hepworth
McEwan Benjamin
+Harvey Jacob
Jacklin ****erill
Das McCrystal
Jadeja Goughy
Chattha Bhadauria
Gareth Gooljar hit 85 not out for the Braves after a tight spell with the new ball, but though he bowled ten overs for 30, Dinu de Silva was the hero as the Panthers prevailed by nine wickets. He thumped 112 not out in a little under two hours, and wrested the game comfortably towards Pickford.

Campsfield Braves 229/6 (50 ovs) lost to
Pickford Panthers 231/1 (42.5 ovs) by nine wickets

Stedingham v Greater Robbham @ Jets Arena

Code:
Stedingham:	Greater Robbham:
Wallis Dobson
Deodhar Lucas
Butler Scott
+Gaukroger	Sukhvinder
Prabhakar Rao	Tebbut
Chaudhari	Palmer
Hogarth Broadbridge
JB Buxton	Finnegan
Loganathan	+Jervis
Javed Pardhasaradhi
Cameron Mitchell
Mat Mitchell never got off the strike at Robbham, and had to suffer the indignity of facing out a maiden over from Chris Butler. Earlier, Butler had only contributed 23 to the Jets' total of 196, and Mitchell had taken three for 20. When Nick Scott propelled his side to 185 for 4 in the 46th over, things looked solid - however, Butler and Javed tied them down, and a one-run win followed.

Stedingham Jets 196/6 (50 ovs) beat
Greater Robbham de Grooters 195/9 (50 ovs) by one run

Gofftown v Garven Island @ Gofftown Oval

Code:
Gofftown:	Garven Island:
Courtis Garven
Malone +Lezama
Malthus-Howell	Shaukhat
+Vaughan	Bowman
Dwyer Hanbury
Mohammad	Monaghan
Nash Tariq
Jamaluddin	Rose
Thampi Cunningham
Demeza Richards
Masterman	Stuart
Don Lezama hit 163 not out on a tricky pitch and batted Garven Island to victory, helped by the bowling partnership of Rose (2-20) and Cunningham (3-14). A disappointing debut for Tom Bowman ended in a ten-ball duck and one wicket for 59, but it still gave a victory.

Garven Island Sharks 240/7 (50 ovs) beat
Gofftown Tigers 216/9 (50 ovs) by 24 runs

(Cribb missed the plane to Gofftown due to a debate with chairman of the Blue selectors. i.e. I still forgot him.)

Finally found some grade form it seems, feels good to be consistently in the wickets and picking up some good runs here.

Round 34

Davistow v Campsfield @ CWBCC Stadium

Centuries from McDonagh and Kearsley ensured that Davistow got a huge total at the CWBCC, before Kennett and Patrick took care of the middle order. Fine fielding from Comley to run out Gooljar for 19 should also be noted.

Davistow Darters 314/3 (50 ovs) beat
Campsfield Braves 247 (50 ovs) by 67 runs

Garven Island v Nixonstown @ Clowich

The Foxes successfully defended 202 against Garven Island, earned after a well-paced 41 from Matt Pitt was the top score of the first innings. Garven Island then imploded to the bowling of Sanjeet, after Eric Clancroft had taken two top order wickets, and they faltered to 161 for 9.

Nixonstown Foxes 201/6 (50 ovs) beat
Garven Island Sharks 161/9 (50 ovs) by 40 runs

Pickford v Gofftown @ Pickford Reserve

The slow and difficult pitch at Pickford threw up a few surprises for the batsmen, but the hosts eventually prevailed after a thrilling final over, where Bhadauria threw his bat to secure victory. Gofftown had made 175 for 6 after McCrystal, George Roberts and Sean Fuller, and the Panthers crashed to 66 for 5 with the new-ball spell from Demeza and Thomas. However, Callum Benjamin played a calm, assured 55, but the rate was too slow and when he went for the big six off Kipling, he played on. Pickford required 17 off seven balls when he went, and Kipling bowled a dot to Bhadauria, but errant, full bowling from Masterman in the final over secured victory.

Gofftown Tigers 175/6 (50 ovs) lost to
Pickford Panthers 179/8 (49.5 ovs) by two wickets

Twybridge v Robbham @ Riverside

Arunava Das thumped a fifty-ball century at the Riverside, and though Ben Wilshere suffered a three-ball duck, the Titans still made 317 for 7. However, this was mainly due to slow batting at the end, as keep wickets intact became more important than runs. It cost them, though - Sukhvinder Singh and Tebbut put on nearly 200 for the third wicket, and despite two wickets from Hancock, Robbham won to grasp second place again.

Twybridge Titans 317/7 (50 ovs) lost to
Greater Robbham de Grooters 318/7 (48.5 ovs) by three wickets

Edfield v Stedingham @ CW Oval

Brilliant innings from Pooja Bharat (103), Barnaby (83), Daniel Towns (55), and Gary Nayak (55) powered the Seahawks to a comfortable total of 320 for 8 at the CW Oval. On a hard day for bowlers, Tharmi Loganathan kept things tight, while Andy Cameron returned to take late wickets. Then, the Jets crashed to 23 for 4, with James and Borcich swinging the new ball miles - six Edfield bowlers got wickets, and the Seahawks cleaned up by 102 runs.

Edfield Seahawks 320/8 (50 ovs) beat
Stedingham Jets 218 (48.1 ovs) by 102 runs

Code:
Nixonstown	34	19	14	1	79	274
Greater Robbham	34	20	10	4	46	254
Twybridge	34	18	12	4	59	243
Edfield 34	17	14	3	59	232
Stedingham	34	17	16	1	44	219
Davistow	34	16	16	2	51	213
Gofftown	34	15	17	2	51	209
Campsfield	34	13	19	2	43	181
Pickford	34	14	19	1	34	165
Garven Island	34	10	22	2	33	143
One round left of each form - three-day game on Friday and one-day game on Saturday.
