Good work guys, special props to that guy whose name I can't remember, who played in the final, may have won MOM honours too. If only I could remember his name...

Grats Gaurav.

Good to see you have a soft side for your roots Thamba :)

Good win guys - Having been a Red member since the team started, and going through many ups and downs, chokes and farces (OD final vs Black blah). It was good to finally get across the line and secure victory in a final. Congrats to Hakon for being at the helm of the team to win Reds first silverware (and to lead from the front, with a ton and half ton in the final is top notch) - stellar effort all season mate, well done (Y)

Gaurav - well deserved MotM mate, must mean a huge amount being in and out of the team for the past few seasons, to come through and put your best game on the table when it counts is fantastic.

Shame I played carp thoughout the end of the season and had a dismal performance in the final, but alas as a team we got there in the end. Should dedicate the win to MJ Robbins - former CWR Captain and original member :)

CW Red vs CW Green - OD - June 8

MD Luff - 3/10 - A good quick start, but gave it away, admittedly, it was a great delivery from Cunningham

GKK Dobson - 4/10 - Nice composed start, providing the perfect contrast for Luff, but also sadly undone by a peach of a delivery

SA Bennett - 7/10 - Quality innings, and a great partnership with Dauth to set us up for victory...sadly we know that didn't happen. Bowling was a little lacklustre

RJ Dauth - 8/10 - Brilliant innings, and partnership with Bennett, took the game to the green bowlers, and put us in a strong position, sadly undone by Halsey.

H Mørk - 6/10 - Whoa, slow down there, don't want you having a heart attack, striking at more than 100 :p. Your innings took us back into a winning position, but sadly undone at a critical moment in the game by Rose.

JR Gray - 3/10 - A decent start, despite the chance, but sadly threw it away going for another big shot

CR Dwyer - 7/10 - Fantastic economical bowling, made ever better by grabbing the wicket of Malone. A little more urgency would've been nice at the end with bat though....

M Reddlapalli - 4/10 - Poor form with the ball, and unlucky not to get the winning runs at the end, denied by some brilliant fielding

DM Kennett - 5/10 - Kept your eco rate under the run rate which was good, but looked hardly threatened

KR Clapham - 2/10 - Direeeeeeeeeee.....shocking bowling, leaking runs worse than the titanic leaked water, picked up a good wicket early though....

DJ Watt - 8/10 - You sir, are a star. Fantastic bowling, picking up my slack :shy:, 6 wickets is gun, and not only that, kept your economy rate well under the overall run rate.

Top notch, sir. Stick around please. Might have seemed to lose faith in you somewhat after that horror game, but we still need someone to take over in FC when the Daves grow old.

(Yes, this applies to all the other seamers too. Nayak, Raghav, Clapham and Thompson are all very welcome to take over the FC mantle (though Gaurav had a fairly decent season when someone gave him a run). ;) )

Btw, Red open the West Indies tour with a match on Monday.
