Liking the ratings system you give post match Hakon. Its good for the players to get feedback from their skip on their performances, and lets everyone know where they stand.

Exceedingly pleased with that effort. They were without Pickup and Patrick, admittedly, and of course Markus, but I think both sides were weakened roughly equally.

The way things are going, Kears will bat at five for the rest of the season. :p He's averaging 130 at present.

So...ratings:

H Mørk 8/10 - pleased with that effort, bar a couple of drops and the lack of a century. Getting out to Su hurts beyond imagination.
MD Luff 4/10 - brief knocks once again - bit tail-end like batting tbh...
AS Sharma 5/10 - the promise is there. Need to carry on!
GKK Dobson 5/10 - nearly precipitated a disaster with that first innings 1. Stabilised things well when we were troubled in the chase though.
DA Kearsley 10/10 - there's not more that needs to be said.
JR Gray 4/10 - nowt spectacular, a short bash and a catch
CP Thompson 7/10 - lovely stand with Kearsley - secured three bonus points - then key wickets. Not the sharpest of bowling all the time, but well played all the same.
GN Nayak 6/10 - not quite carrying on the grade form, but useful as an impact bowler and for the quick runs.
SA Bennett 7/10 - gritty batting, tight bowling for a good average. As long as you take 4-5 wickets a match the seamers will be happy.
DM Kennett 5/10 - seem to have hit a bit of a rut now - got a few wickets but Su doesn't really count, fairly useless with new ball. Have to take into account it's the strongest opening pair going around though.
SV Raghav 5/10 - made an impact at least, not too many wickets but important ones (Smith 46, Armstrong 104).

Also, ratings for the grade performance:

CR Dwyer (Gofftown) 5/10 - not much you could do, I s'pose, but first innings duck to Gooljar...

ZR Ritchie (Davistow) 3/10 - poor batting, part of a sloppy fielding effort defending a massive 468.
SV Raghav (Davistow) 4/10 - most wickets, but fell apart after taking the openers in the second dig.
GN Nayak (Edfield) 7/10 - solid batting and expensive, but useful bowling.
KR Clapham (Edfield) 6/10 - Gaukroger twice, one Red, one former Red. Not too bad in 15 overs' work.
M Reddlapalli (Stedingham) 4/10 - perhaps batting too high? not threatening with ball either.
AS Sharma (Maddington) 8/10 - match-winning knock. bit too cheap in the second innings.
CP Thompson (Twybridge) 7/10 - good bowling. got an early peach but still too soft dismissal. Did your part to chase a huge tally.

Top Stuff Kears!!! Thommo has also been great since he's moved here to Reds (Y). Bit of a dissappointing start personally to Grade Cricket, bloody borcich hogging all the wickets.

Yeh well, looks like we have a tough season ahead of us. Hopefully we can put that behind us and start all over again with the RED spirit.

Ratings for the weekend:

SA Bennett: Colts 4/10 - early dismissal, poor bowling - Black 7/10 - glued the batting together after an awful start, vital wicket of Donald, bit expensive though
MD Luff: Colts 2/10 - shocking stuff, out to SS
CP Thompson: Colts 5/10 - useful bowling - Black 8/10 - brought his best game against his old team-mates, great to see, key death bowling and a vital six
GKK Dobson: Colts 3/10 - shot strike rate and batting - Black 4/10 - stabilised a bit, then got out at another inopportune moment
DA Kearsley: Colts 2/10 - shocking strike rate - Black 3/10 - a bit quicker, and a catch, but single-figure scores...
ZJ Ritchie: Colts 8/10 - competitive batting and economical bowling - Black 6/10 - helped Bennett rebuild, nearly lost it with those three overs though
CR Dwyer: Colts 7/10 - very solid batting - Black 6/10 - same as Ritchie really, vital runs but expensive bowling
GN Nayak: Colts 5/10 - good slog but not threatening with ball - Black 4/10 - wasted the new ball, great batting though
DM Kennett: Colts 6/10 - on the money and got successive slogs, one six - Black 10/10 - wag, both Chaulk and Stedman out, destroyed them
SV Raghav: Colts 3/10 - not much better effort than Nayak against Black
H Mørk: Black 2/10 - that experiment over with
A Sharma: Black 2/10 - at least you didn't waste time getting out
M Reddlapalli: Black 6/10 - good batting and a massively vital wicket, economical too
JR Gray: Colts 2/10 - hogged up time, no catches

Grade:

Dwyer: v Braves OD: 8/10 - 83 as part of a demolition, good bowling in unfamiliar role
Ritchie: v Sharks OD: 6/10 - slow batting but useful bowling, clean bowled a danger man in the late overs
Mørk: v Frenzy OD: 6/10 - stabilising effort, didn't do much as far as the final result was concerned though
Sharma: v Seahawks OD: 4/10 - early run out, poor judgment. Bowled well enough
Amir: v Panthers OD: 9/10 - underbowled
v Braves OD: 9/10 - what a second spell
v Braves 3D: 6/10 - nice little boost of confidence, even if it wasn't good enough to bowl your team to a win
Reddlapalli: v Seahawks OD: 8/10 - solid cameo
v Panthers OD: 7/10 - happy knack of bowling tightly, shocking dismissal but with Stedman's innings you had a license to try
Luff: v Tigers 3D: 7/10 - very good second innings, nice staying power, not enough to win but at least achieve parity
Raghav: v Titans 3D: 4/10 - went off the boil completely after those three early wickets. Unbeaten batting though, asking for promotion
Gray: v Tigers 3D: 3/10 - nondescript effort, outfoxed by Demeza

Think that's everything. :)

Thanks for the ratings Haakon.

Somebody bitch slap that captain of mine in grade cricket. What an absolute dolt. BTW, 4 for 13 in 5 overs doesn't get me 10/10? :p

Also, that better be the last time a top order Red batsman gets out to Shah. I mean come on, the guy got hammered in USA!!

Gun enough to captain your side to a loss? :D In all seriousness great win Reds, some great efforts by the team (My OD batting sucking way too much atm).

But loving my FC Form, hopefully it will stick around.
