DA Kearsley - 7/10 - turning the corner? Averaged 45 for the match at least, but still worried about the carrying on of starts. Electric fielding.
ZJ Ritchie - 5/10 - seems to suffer from Kears' start-disease. Two thirties is reasonable, I suppose.

HAHA its not contageous is it?

Top way to start a campaign. Just need to do that every game in the season proper, now.

SA Bennett - 6/10 - tied down one end. Poor batting though, rapidly heading the way of the rabbit.
Indeed. Can't believe that I'm still batting as high as 8 tbh.

Thanks for the ratings there Hak, I was a little disappointed not to make a decent score but happy to pick up 3 wickets. Well played Reds, very close victory.

The day's ratings

H Mørk 8/10 - quite good wicket-keeping (which wasn't supposed to be, but I guess Jamee had a smell inside my gloves and decided they were chemical weapons), top-notch second innings ton. Getting out to Smith in both innings hurts a bit.
A Sharma 7/10 - we did get the big stand in the end! 30 and 64, perfectly serviceable for a Red opener after Mamesh. Couple of blinders. All right, dropped on 14, but we'll live.
GKK Dobson 7/10 - dug in well and applied himself in the second innings, well played. Dodgy decision in the first.
DA Kearsley 4/10 - I'm sure you're as tired of seeing the scoreboard tick past 15 as I am...
JR Gray 8/10 - a couple of excellent knocks. Might get into the first XI at this rate.
MJ Robbins 5/10 - middle-of-the-road performance, some silly dismissals but economical bowling
CP Thompson 7/10 - good contributions all round.
GN Nayak 8/10 - brutal! maybe we'll make you a specialist batsman too...
KR Clapham 7/10 - a solid assortment of tail-enders in the first innings, went a bit off the boil against Mamesh in the second even though he was the first to break through the shackles.
SV Raghav 5/10 - seems to have tapered off at the wrong time, I'm sorry to say. Don't think I can promise a spot in the starting line-up after today's performance, magic worn off a bit.
MU Amir 8/10 - got better as the rust wore off, probably most to thank for the eventual victory.

U-19s:

MD Luff 7/10 - determined to make it as hard as possible to pick between you and Sharma...
ZJ Ritchie 5/10 - effective bowling at least, even if it didn't look very dangerous, but I'm looking for performances with the bat from you. Suppose we can blame Manju for running you out.
M Reddlapalli 5/10 - same as Ritchie really. Four wickets, all caught. Good reflexes and fielding in general.
CR Dwyer 6/10 - thumped some key runs, bowling was a bit below the boat though. Not putting pressure on Bennett yet.

Great Win against Blue Fellas :)

Top allround performances from Nayak & Thommo, whilst it was great to see Aseem & Kenny give Hakon some support up top :D. Well done to Amir as well for his 5-fer :D

Yes finally Hakon we got our partnership going :D.

Luff bro, I am gonna' try my best to give you a hard time for the openers spot ;), especially with my youthful fielding as displayed in today's game :p.

Well done everyone else! Especially Clapo and Amir. You guys bowled wonderfully. And almost every batsman impressed.

Well done boys, happy to see that everyone putting their hand up for wins unlike the typical Indian team

Anyway improving from my past performance with U19's but there is alot of distance to travel, hopefully we can notch up a win or two. Zac mate that run-out was totally not ma fault, not my fault you wanted to be foolish like Lara
