CW Dev XI to play 5D against WI 'A'

Hopefully we'll get our first season win against WI 'A' (0-4) who have not been very good this season. That said, neither have we.

Broncoman
Umpire Money
Bugssy
Marc71178
Age Master
Paid the Umpire
Eyes Only
R_Powell_fan
Mr Ponting
Chris Hinton
Neil Pickup

12th man: Peter Young

We've dropped PY and added a fourth specialist bowler in hope that we can actually bowl someon out for less than 300.

August 25th

Busy start to Round 3...
------------------
Zimbabwe 'A' 276 & 443/7d
Australia 'A' 307 & 416/6

Australia 'A' won by 4 wickets

Man of the match: Greg Blewett

Great Zimbabwean fightback, but Australia still romped home against a weak bowling attack.
------------------
India A 420 & 41/1
New Zealand 'A' 207 & 253

India A won by 9 wickets

Man of the match: Shiv S Das

New Zealand outclassed without Canning and Mason.
------------------
England 'A' 185 & 262
South Africa 'A' 385 & 63/2

South Africa 'A' won by 8 wickets

Man of the match: Jon Kent
------------------
Cricketweb XI Devs 275 & 313
West Indies 'A' 330 & 130

Cricketweb XI Devs won by 128 runs

Man of the match: Neil Pickup

Neil back in form with the 11 wickets and the best match figures in CW FC history. Great resolve from Mr. Ponting in the second innings with the Devs in deep trouble. Also of note are innings by R_Powell_fan, Age Master (who continues his recent trend) and Bugssy who is finding some measure of 5D touch.

Your talent is clearly apparent. You remind me of a young AA except you don't bat as well.

Good match guys, thats the way, lets improve on it now!

Very Economical figures in the first innings for me and also in the second as well as a wicket. Useful with the bat as well, i'm getting better. Thats two matches my name has been in the coach's summary...
