hard luck there reds, we might want to work the batting a little bit there, since we got all out for 129, but apart from that, its been a pretty good season. we actually won our fai sahre of games, but in the end, i guess it just wasnt enough.

In the form of his life, Andrew Cloete played his way to a comfortable half-century, and he and Sean Fuller added an unbroken 84 to carry Blue home.

at the CW Oval

The Red pace attack failed to fire in a crucial clash, and Cricket Web Black achieved a comfortable 7-wicket victory. In an attempt to defend 241/6, the Reds were defeated by the brutal batting of Ash Chaulk, followed by the calm maturity of Chris Butler and Alex Blackman.

Earlier, Jamee Gray shone once more at the end of the Red innings, pushing on from Rob Dauth's fine half-century to lift the score to respectability, alongside Nick Borcich.

Too easy. Brilliant spell from Liam, and top order batsmen making light work of an easy task. Cloete's form is astonishing at the moment, 174, 76 and 68* or something similar. No wickets personally but a fairly quiet spell as Liam did the damage. Heading to the top of the table in both forms now. :)

Dauth Out Down The Stretch

Cricket Web Red will be without the services of Rob Dauth for the remainder of the regular season, as they push for an OD title. The specialist batsman damaged his wrist whilst receiving a throw from Tharmi Loganathan in the recent game against Cricket Web Black.

Initial fears were that the wrist was broken, and it is now suspected to be a hairline fracture. Dauth will miss the next 5 game days, meaning that he will not be fit until the playoffs.

Top quality stuff guys, nice batting from Cloete and a great job from Liam to clean up the tail. Let's keep this up for the last few games and go home with both trophies.
