Bit weird not counting Dhoni and jadhav as specialist bats just because they also do other things.

I know Dhonis batting record is great, but he's still the keeper not a specalist bat. And Jadhav is an AR not simply a batsmen who bowls part time. Still seems rare to only have 3 blokes that have the little bat and nothing else next to their name on the teamsheet

Well he doesn't often have to bowl ten because India like to play 6 bowlers, but he nearly always bowls right. Moreso than say Maxwell(til very recently)

this is going to be a continuing issue with dhawan out. we have too many bats in our top order who aren't good at rotating the strike.

Never been an aesthetically pleasing batsman but my word he looks extra trash when he's batting like this, even if it does come off later.
