I'm finally going to get to us play Bangladesh. Should've happened in the middle of last year, and in tests, but of course CA were a bunch of ****s.

This should be a good contest.

Bangladesh should heavily target Aussies' bowlers who are not named Starc and Cummins. For those two the Bangladeshi batsmen should just ensure that they take singles and put away the bad balls, enough to not allow those two to get into a rhythm.

If Bangladesh bowlers can keep the top order Australian batsmen very quiet in the first 15 to 20 overs then they can unleash their spinners on the Australian lineup to cause a collapse.

Aussies on the other hand just need to ball wicket to wicket with accuracy. They need to get to a fast start while batting without taking too many risks. The Aussies just have to be ultra disciplined and they can win this game comfortably.

Bangers have a decent chance here. They've been playing well, while Aus have been a bit of a mixed bag.

It is Shakib or nothing for the Bangers. Very important that he does well, otherwise they will easily lose this contest.

Australia obviously heavy favourites, but the Bangers confidence will be sky-high after hammering WI.

Australia to win by 50.

This is a big game for both teams. Australia, with NZ and England to come need the points otherwise Bangladesh could take 4th by beating Afghanistan and Pakistan.

For Bangladesh to have a reasonable chance to win this game:

a. The pitch must be fairly flat or one that has assistance for spinners

b. Australia must follow in the foot steps of South Africa an West Indies, desperately trying to exploit their perceived weakness against short pitched bowling.
These Bangla guys have been expecting it, have been preparing for it in the nets, and have feasted on it.

Any sense of complacency which Australia had went when the little 'deshis rolled over the Windies. That's probably not great news for the Bangers, because if Australia play at anything approaching their best they will win this one. Not a sledge on Bangladesh, who've been excellent, Shakib in particular. Just that it's pretty obvious from reports that Australia is preparing for a tough game here, as they should.

Would really like to see Australia finally give Gaz Lyon a game, has a record of giving their southpaw heavy top order a fair bit of strife in the longer format, worth a shot

Think Bangladesh's only realistic chance is to bat first, make 300+ and hope that the pressure tells on Australia.

Don't worry then, as Masrafee will bowl first after winning the toss while being cheered on by *****.
