im proud to still have my contract aswell..... but 3 outta 15 are keepers :O
I think that reflects more on our keepers being one-form specialists.

Good to see that the selectors still have faith in me, though. :)

Reiterate the comments made by others, and hopefully we'll see some names preceeding the word "Colts" there next year to join Kyle. :)

Great to retain my contract. Hopefully I'll be able to prove myself worthy of that status. One thing though, I thought I'd changed to RF?

Centrally contracted players are more likely to miss matches than any others, however. Pending the gaps between home Tests, some players may be rested to avoid injury or fatigue.

That was last season. The structure of this season and the new control that will be exercised over the contracted players will mean that key players play half the season or thereabouts.

This is fair, allows rookies to get more game time. Good thing.

Those with secondary contracts will be watched by selectors and play as much Dev League cricket as is possible.

The CWBCC does however reserve the right to terminate any contract on the basis of disciplinary action or constant injury. Please note that players not given contracts are still eligible for selection.

Central
BJ Goff (RHB/RM)
PE Young (RHB/RM/WK)
SG Fitzsimmons (RHM/RFM)
MJ Robbins (RHB/RM)
AP Cloete (RHB/LS)
KS Wright (RHB/RFM)
NS Pickup (RHB/LS)
LA Camps (RHB/RFM)
AP Chaulk (RHB/WK)
DJ Watt (RHB/RF)
DM Kennett (RHB/RFM)
CR Butler (LHB/RMF)
XPA Rose (RHB/RFM)
H Moerk (RHB/WK)
TC Halsey (RHB/LS)

Secondary
RG Verghese (RHB/OS)
DA Kearsley (RHB/RMF)
DP Richards (RHB/LAS)
NS Hoy (LHB/RF)
I Markus (RHB/OS)

The centrally contracted players will be carefully managed by the CWBCC and the amount of non-international cricket played will be regulated to avoid major injury. Any contracted player wishing to participate in County Cricket or Grade Cricket or otherwise during the offseason must apply for and receive a permit from the CWBCC.

i guess i didnt get to keep my contract, so its the wilderness for me i guess :(

You retired from ODIs.
And are not in the Test picture. We don't have enough money to pay for the 'A' team's to have a reasonable hotel room, so why would we waste any more?!
