Series averages.
If you are a budding bowler, I suggest you cover your eyes. Interesting stats in the series... * All bowlers combined for 355 wickets at an average of 41.49 in the series with just 9 five-wicket hauls, an economy of 3.24 and a SR of 76.59. * 7 of the top 10 wicket-takers were spin bowlers. * Spinners took 177 of the 355 wickets to fall with an average of 37.47, 5 five-wicket hauls, an economy of 3.25 and a SR of 69.21. * Seamers averaged 45.31 with a SR of 83.92. * At least one batsman on each team and seven (7) in total crossed 500 runs in the series. * There were 24 centuries scored among 13 batsmen.
